4/9 Nashville Speedway - Southern Super Series

Charlotte, N.C. (April 9, 2016) - The bad luck bit Dalton Sargeant and the Windows 10 once again int he Music City, as the No. 55 wasn't even able to complete a lap before their race finished in an incident.  Sargeant was able to once again show speed throughout the weekend at a new track for the rookie driver and brand new race team. Immediately, the No. 55 was competing at the top of the leaderboards in practice and backed up that speed in qualifying with a 4th place effort.  Coming to receive the green flag for the 100 lap event, the car directly infront of Sargeant missed a shift and began stacking the entire high line up.  Sargeant was able to slow the No. 55 but the car behind was not able to, pushing Sargeant into the stalled car and damaging the radiator.  The No. 55 would receive their third straight DNF finish of the very young 2016 racing season.

"That was definitely the first time I haven't been able to make a lap in a race...we just cannot shake this bad luck right now and this was a bad one.  We showed speed all weekend, qualified good, didn't run that great in the heat race so we got put behind some inexperienced kids who missed a shift. Unfortunate end but we'll fix it up and get it to Orange County next weekend."
